Job summary

WellQuest Living LLC in Menifee, CA is seeking a Medication Aide to coordinate medication services for residents. You will work under the Health Services Director and Journey Program Director to verify dosages with physicians and dispense meds only after physician verification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Employee must pass criminal record clearance before beginning work in the community
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one-year of experience successfully passing medications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Verify medications and proper dosages with physician before dispensing.
• Order additional medications as needed and track changes/refills.
• Maintain resident medication records and MARs.
• Assist with department scheduling and inventory of supplies.
• Serve as main contact for physicians, family members and vendors when needed.
• Prepare medications for distribution per policy.
• Observe and document medication administration and refusals.
