Job summary

WellQuest Living in Nevada is seeking a Medication Technician to administer medications to residents under physician orders and under supervision of Health Services Director, in line with nursing standards and facility policies.

You will maintain MAR records, coordinate with pharmacy and physician, and support scheduling, inventory, and documentation. The role requires state medication training and at least one year of medication administration experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed Medication Administration Course with passing grade.
• Completed all state-required medication training.
• At least one year of experience administering medications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Order additional medications as needed.
• Track orders for medication changes and refills.
• Report changes in medication orders or resident status to supervisor.
• Maintain resident medication records and MAR documentation.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Medication Administration Course with passing grade

State-required medication training

At least 1 year experience passing medications
