Job summary

WellQuest of Menifee is seeking a full-time Medication Coordinator to support resident care in our Menifee, CA community. You will coordinate medication services with residents, pharmacies and physicians, verify dosages, and maintain accurate MAR records in accordance with policy.

You will also order medications, track changes, assist with scheduling and daily logs, and help ensure safe, confidential care with adherence to state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Employee must pass criminal record clearance before beginning work in the community.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one-year of experience successfully passing medications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate medication services with resident, pharmacy and physician.
• Inform local pharmacy of medication needs before resident arrival and verify dosages with physician.
• Order additional medications as needed and track changes/refills.
• Maintain and audit resident medication records and MAR sheets.
• Assist with department scheduling, inventory, and reports.
• Serve as point of contact for physicians, families and vendors when needed.
• Support safety and infection control practices and state regulations.
