REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Preferred at least 2 years experience as a PCA.
• Has a PCA or CNA certification.
• Vaccinated or Unvaccinated are welcome (proof required prior to seeing a client).
• Can work day shifts, come & go, and must be willing to take regular short hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
2. Encourage residents to do as much of their own care as possible.
3. Serve meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and assist in preparing meals following pre-planned menus.
4. Encourage residents to eat a proper diet and stay hydrated; record and report changes in eating habits to the supervisor.
5. Initiate and participate in leisure activities, encouraging residents to socialize and develop friendships.
6. Maintain residents’ records daily, including documentation of medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations; report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; perform general housekeeping and follow cleaning schedules.
8. Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
