REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Preferred at least 2 years experience as a PCA.
• Has a PCA or CNA certification.
• Vaccinated or Unvaccinated are welcome (proof required prior to seeing a client).
• Can work day shifts, come & go, and must be willing to take regular short hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
2. Encourage residents to do as much of their own care as possible.
3. Serve meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and assist in meal preparation following pre-planned menus.
4. Encourage residents to eat a proper diet and stay hydrated; respect their right to free choice; record and report changes in eating habits to the supervisor.
5. Initiate and participate in leisure activities as per the activity calendar; encourage socialization and participation in planned activities to foster friendships.
6. Maintain residents’ records daily, including medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations; report any changes in physical or emotional condition, behavior, or visitors; observe and report health status.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; perform general housekeeping and follow cleaning schedules for laundry, bedrooms, dining areas, bathrooms, kitchen, and other areas.
8. Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly and positively to resident requests for assistance.
