Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Preferred at least 2 years of experience as a PCA.
• Has a PCA or CNA certification.
• Vaccinated or Unvaccinated are welcome (proof required prior to seeing a client).
• Can work day shifts, come and go, and must be willing to take short, regular hours.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and mobility according to the individual service plan.
• Encourage residents to do as much of their own care as possible.
• Serve meals in the dining room or apartments, and assist in meal preparation following pre-planned menus.
• Encourage proper diet and fluid intake, respect residents' rights to free choice, and report any changes in eating habits to the supervisor.
• Initiate and participate in leisure activities, encouraging socialization and participation in planned activities to foster friendships.
• Maintain residents’ records daily, including medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, observations, and changes in physical or emotional condition; report promptly to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment; perform housekeeping and follow cleaning schedules for all areas.
• Follow proper procedures in emergency situations and respond promptly to resident requests for assistance.
