Requirements:
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- Preferred at least 2 years of experience as a PCA.
- Has a PCA or CNA certification.
- Vaccinated or Unvaccinated are welcome (proof required prior to seeing a client).
- Can work day shifts, come & go, and is willing to take regular short hours.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
- Encouraging residents to do as much of their own care as possible.
- Serving meals, assisting in meal preparation following pre-planned menus, and encouraging proper diet and hydration.
- Recording and reporting changes in residents' eating habits, physical condition, behavior, and other observations.
- Participating in leisure activities, encouraging socialization, and fostering friendships among residents.
- Maintaining residents’ records accurately and promptly, including medication, activities, incidents, and observations.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment, performing general housekeeping, and following cleaning schedules.
- Responding promptly and properly to emergency situations and resident requests for assistance.
