Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Preferred at least 2 years experience as a PCA.
• Has a PCA or CNA certification.
• Vaccinated or Unvaccinated are welcome (proof required prior to seeing a client).
• Can work day shifts, come & go, and is willing to take regular short hours.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
• Encourages residents to do as much of their own care as possible.
• Serves meals to residents and may assist in meal preparation following pre-planned menus.
• Encourages residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids; records and reports changes in eating habits.
• Participates in leisure activities and encourages socialization among residents.
• Maintains residents’ records daily, documents medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, and observations; reports changes in physical or emotional condition.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and performs general housekeeping, laundry, and cleaning schedules.
• Follows proper procedures in emergencies and responds promptly to resident requests.
