Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Preferred at least 2 years experience as a PCA.
• Has a PCA or CNA certification.
• Vaccinated or Unvaccinated are welcome (proof required prior to seeing a client).
• Can work day shifts, come & go, and must be willing to take regular short hours.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
• Encourage residents to do as much of their own care as possible.
• Serve meals to residents and assist in meal preparation following pre-planned menus.
• Encourage residents to eat a proper diet and stay hydrated; record and report changes in eating habits.
• Participate in leisure activities and encourage socialization among residents.
• Maintain residents’ records daily, document medication distribution, leisure activities, incidents, observations, and report changes in physical or emotional condition.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment; perform general housekeeping and follow cleaning schedules.
• Respond promptly and positively to resident requests and follow proper procedures in emergencies.
