Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. in Connecticut is seeking caring individuals to provide non-medical home care to clients in multiple service areas across the state. Flexible shifts include weekdays, weekends, overnights, and live-in opportunities.

A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required, with competitive hourly pay and referral bonuses. You'll follow each client's Plan of Care, assist with transportation, light housekeeping, meals, and daily activities while offering

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence with companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.

Your Day-to-Day
