Job summary

Right at Home SLC is hiring caregivers to help seniors and adults with disabilities stay safe, comfortable, and independent at home. The role focuses on one-on-one care, companionship, and reliable support in the Salt Lake area.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, and fostering meaningful connections to enhance well-being. Prior dementia care experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 or older.
• Valid driver's license and car.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
• Experience with dementia or behavioral care (preferred).
• Familiarity with hoyer lifts and gait belts (preferred).

Position: Caregiver

As a caregiver, you'll provide one‑on‑one care that matters every day. Your responsibilities will include offering companionship and emotional support, assisting with hygiene and mobility, preparing meals and light housekeeping, providing transportation to appointments or outings, giving medication reminders, and building meaningful connections that foster well‑being.

• Competitive pay: $17.00–$18.25/hour (based on experience, CNA, or Dementia Certification) Minimum $27.50 per shift
• Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $17.00/hour
• Raises after 60 days + annual reviews
