Job summary

Savant of Woodland Hills is seeking a Memory Care Caregiver to join our team as a part-time role, Friday through Monday. You will report to the Wellness Director and provide direct care and medication assistance to residents in a warm, supportive environment.

The ideal candidate has memory care experience, CPR and First Aid certifications, fluent English, and the ability to lift and transfer residents. Prior work in assisted living is a plus; we offer health insurance, a retirement savings plan,

Qualifications

• This position requires memory care experience and ability to provide direct care.
• CPR certification is required.
• First Aid certification is required according to state regulations.
• Fluent spoken and written English is required.
• Ability to push, pull and lift residents and stand for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living including grooming, hygiene, bathing, and meals.
• Lift and transfer residents as needed.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.

Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.

Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves

EXPERIENCE IN MEMORY CARE SETTING

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR

Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations

Speak read and understand English fluently.

• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.
