Boulder Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care- Leisure Living in Rockford, MI is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/Med Tech to support residents with daily living needs, administer medications, and help create a comfortable, safe environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid within 30 days, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will chart, monitor vitals, and collaborate with care teams to ensure quality resident care.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office on Windows.
• Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Maintain strict confidentiality.

Aufgaben

• Administer medications per physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift for timely medication administration.
• Audit incoming medication orders for accuracy; update eMAR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans.
• Respond to call lights, doors and safety alarms promptly.
• Observe changes and report to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Order/re-order medications to maintain supply.
• Complete daily charting, documentation, and reporting.
• Record resident weights and vitals.
• Train new employees as requested.
• Clean and disinfect rooms and spaces per schedule.
• Assist with meals setup and cleanup as needed.
• Support Life Enrichment activities and encourage participation.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors.
• Stay awake and alert during shift.
