Job summary

Boulder Creek Assisted Living and Memory Care - Leisure Living in Rockford, MI seeks caregivers to provide compassionate support, administer medications, and assist residents with daily activities. You will learn residents’ preferences and ensure safety and comfort as part of a dedicated care team.

Eligible candidates should have a high school diploma/GED, CPR/First Aid cert (or within 30 days of hire) and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office in Windows environment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Professional telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
• Developed organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents per physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift for timely medication administration.
• Review incoming medication orders for accuracy and update eMAR.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans.
• Respond to resident call lights, doors, and safety alarms promptly.
• Observe and report changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Order/re-order medications to maintain adequate supply.
• Complete daily charting, documentation and reporting.
