Job summary

Leisure Living is seeking a Caregiver / Med Tech to provide daily living assistance to residents in a warm, supportive environment in White Lake, MI. Responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring safety and comfort while respecting individual preferences.

Training is provided for medications and eMAR documentation, with a fast-paced but rewarding team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Microsoft Office in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents according to physician orders and document completion.
• Review eMAR each shift to ensure timely administration of medications and treatments.
• Review incoming medication orders for accuracy and update eMAR accordingly.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living per service plans.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights, doors, and safety alarms.
• Observe and report changes to Care Coordinator and Director of Resident Care.
• Order/re-order medications to maintain adequate supply.
• Complete daily charting, documentation, and reporting as required.
• Obtain resident weights and vitals.
• Participate in training new employees as requested.
• Clean and disinfect resident rooms, work areas and common spaces.
