Job summary

Stonehill Communities is seeking a Caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, maintain dignity, and support quality of life. You will administer medication reminders after nurse delegation and help with bathing, dressing, ambulation, and morning routines.

This is a full-time 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm) role requiring attention to privacy, accurate care documentation, and reporting changes to the Nurse Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Complete Mandatory yearly in-service training
• Professional, pleasant and helpful attitude
• Capable of respecting privacy and confidential information

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities to enhance quality of life
• Administer medication reminders and/or after nurse delegation
• Assist with showering/bathing and personal hygiene
• Get residents dressed and ready in the morning, evening, and as needed
• Assist residents with ambulation
• Observe and report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor
• Complete care documentation accurately and within required timeframes
• Maintain current knowledge of resident care policies and procedures

As a Caregiver, you will assist residents with daily living activities with the goal of enhancing each resident's quality of life. Administer medication reminders and/or medication after completing nurse delegation. Provide showering/bathing and personal hygiene assistance. Get the residents dressed and ready in the morning, evening, and/or as needed. Assists residents with ambulation. Observe and report changes in the residents condition to the Nurse Supervisor. Completes work, and care documentation with accuracy and within a specified time frame. Maintains current knowledge of all applicable resident care policies and procedures.

This position will be scheduled 1st Shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. This position does require every other holiday. Holiday pay is at a rate of double time employee's base pay rate.
