Job summary

Stonehill Communities is seeking a Universal Worker to assist residents with daily living activities and provide compassionate care. The role includes showering, dressing, ambulation, and reporting changes to the nurse supervisor.

The position also includes responsibilities as a Production Cook, reviewing menus, following recipes, and maintaining food safety standards. The shift is first shift, full-time with every other weekend and holiday required.

Description

As a Universal Worker, you will assist residents with daily living activities with the goal of enhancing each resident's quality of life. Provide showering/bathing and personal hygiene assistance. Get the residents dressed and ready in the morning. Assists residents with ambulation. Observe and report changes in the residents condition to the Nurse Supervisor. Complete work, and care documentation with accuracy and within a specified time frame. As well as maintain current knowledge of all applicable resident care policies and procedures. As a Universal Worker you will also work as a Production Cook at Assisi Village where you will be a part of the dining team with responsibilities that include reviewing menus, following standardized recipes and required meal plans, baking, following safety and sanitation guidelines, washing and prepping food. Ensuring that food procedures are followed in accordance with established policies. Perform administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc. Other duties as assigned.

This position will be scheduled 1st shift split between two departments at Assisi Village. 6:30a.m.-10:30a.m. as a Caregiver, 10:30a.m.-3:00p.m. and a Production Cook. This position does require every other weekend, and every other holiday. Holiday pay is at a rate of double time employee's base pay rate.
