Job summary

Stonehill Communities in Dubuque County seeks a Home Care Caregiver to visit assigned client homes and provide personal care, observation, and documentation of services. You will assist with baths, meals, transportation to appointments, and maintain safety and quality of life, with evenings or night shifts and a flexible schedule.

This full-time role offers weekends every other and holiday coverage, with benefits and holiday pay at double time; experience in health care or customer service

Qualifications

Description

As a Home Care Caregiver, you will be reporting to assigned clients homes in and around Dubuque County. Where you will be responsible for observing clients, reporting and recording these observations and documenting the services provided. Providing personal care including, baths/showers, or other personal hygiene tasks. Planning and preparing nutritious meals. Assisting residents to and from appointments, or other errands. The Home Care Caregiver will be assigned in a manner that promotes quality, continuity and safety of services.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent
• Possesses and maintains good physical stamina and mental health
• Ability to read, follow written instructions and document services provided
• Is self-directed with the ability to work with little direct supervision
• Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail or impaired
• Is flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation
• Must possess a Valid Driver\'s License and proof of car insurance

Summary

Shift: 2nd Shift

Status: Full-Time (60-80 hours per pay period)
