Job summary

Vitality Living in Tupelo seeks a dedicated Caregiver for our Landmark Lifestyles community. You will support residents with daily living, assist with activities of daily living, and help maintain a comfortable, respectful environment.

The role involves contributing to service plans, communicating with team members, and participating in onboarding and ongoing training. Candidates should be 18+, fluent in English, and able to meet health requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state regulations.
• Meet state health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and simple treatments as indicated in care plans.
• Support development and revision of service plans by communicating resident needs and effective approaches to the supervisor.
• Observe and report resident problems to the LPN or Medication Tech/Aid as applicable.
• Participate in onboarding, annual and in-service trainings and team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team members meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
