Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a Caregiver for Appletree Court Assisted Living Community in Richardson, TX. This PRN position supports residents with daily activities, emotional well-being, and adherence to service plans.

The role emphasizes being part of a vibrant community that celebrates individuality. Requirements include being at least 18, able to communicate in English, and meeting health-related and certification regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
