Job summary

Vitality Living in Tupelo, MS is seeking a part-time Caregiver to support residents at our Landmark Lifestyles community. You will assist with activities, simple treatments, and emotional support per service plans, while promoting a respectful, vibrant environment.

You will work with a dedicated wellness team, participate in onboarding and ongoing training, and report resident changes to the LPN or Medication Tech. Must be 18+, fluent English, and meet state health requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any state-required health certifications.
• Meet state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities and simple treatments per service plans.
• Contribute to development and revision of service plans with supervisor input.
• Observe and report resident issues to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid.
• Attend onboarding, annual and ongoing training and meetings.
• Perform duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements
