Job summary

Vitality Living Columbia is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to support residents and contribute to a vibrant, resident-centered community. You will assist with daily activities, respond to emotional and health needs, and collaborate with the wellness team to uphold individualized service plans.

The role emphasizes clear English communication, adherence to state certifications, and participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any certification as required by state or provincial regulations.
• Meet state or provincial health related requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, simple treatments, and emotional health issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of resident needs and preferences
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend onboarding, annual and in-service training and team meetings as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
