Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a caring Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist to support residents at our Overlook Community. You will assist with activities of daily living, monitor well-being, and collaborate with the wellness team to implement care plans.

The role emphasizes compassion, clear communication in English, and adherence to state requirements. We welcome energetic individuals who enjoy making a positive difference in residents' daily lives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
• Maintain any required state certifications.
• Meet health-related requirements per state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and basic care per service plans.
• Contribute to development and revision of service plans by relaying insights.
• Observe and report resident issues to the LPN or Medication Tech.
• Participate in onboarding, trainings, and team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Wellness Director.

Caregiver/Personal Care Specialist Responsibilities

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
