Job summary

Vitality Living is seeking a Caregiver for Landmark Lifestyles at Tupelo Community in Tupelo, MS. You will assist residents with activities of daily living, provide emotional support, and help maintain individual service plans.

The role requires clear English communication, adherence to state health requirements, and a willingness to participate in onboarding and ongoing training. This is a full-time position with equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Must maintain any certifications as required by state regulations.
• Must meet state health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living and emotional support per care plans.
• Support development and revision of service plans by reporting resident needs to supervisors.
• Observe and report problems to LPN or Medication Tech/Aid as applicable.
• Participate in onboarding, annual and in-service trainings and team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director.

Caregiver Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with performance of activities, simple treatments, and emotional health and/or problem behavioral issues as indicated in service plans
• Assist in development and revision of service plans by informing supervisor of current resident needs and preferences, as well as successful service approaches
• Observe and report resident problems to LPN (if on duty) or Medication Tech/Aid
• Attend and participate in onboarding, annual and in-service training and team member meetings, as requested
• Perform other duties as assigned by Wellness Director
