Job summary

Executive Home Care of Alpharetta is seeking a compassionate in‑home caregiver/CNA/PCA to provide essential personal care and assistance to clients in their homes. You will work with a caring team to improve clients’ quality of life and maintain independence.

Responsibilities include helping with ADLs, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, nutrition monitoring, and meaningful companionship while reporting health changes to the care team. A friendly, patient demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

  • Soft skills essential for in-home caregiving: compassionate, patient, and reliable.
  • Ability to read and follow individualized care plans and document observations.
  • CPR and First Aid certification preferred to ensure safety during care.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
  • Provide medication reminders and support with routine medications.
  • Prepare meals and monitor nutrition and hydration in accordance with dietary needs.
  • Offer companionship and social interaction to reduce isolation.
  • Monitor health and report changes to the care team; document care provided.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
  • Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred.
  • Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team.
