Job summary

Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth in Frankenmuth, MI is seeking a dedicated Caregiver to provide compassionate, reliable care on the first shift. You will assist with daily living activities, meal prep, and medication reminders while ensuring safety and companionship.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or CNA/HHA training, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and have a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is required.

Covenant Glen of Frankenmuth is looking for a Caregiver who is responsible for providing compassionate, reliable care and assistance to clients during the first shift.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility.
• Maintains a safe and clean environment
• Provides companionship
• Monitors clients for changes in condition, and communicates important observations to family members and healthcare staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation every single day
• Validated ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Available to work different shifts, including nights and/or weekends
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• High School Diploma or equivalent/Experience as a Caregiver, CNA or HHA, or completion of a CNA Program
