Job summary

Synergy Senior Management is seeking a compassionate Caregiver/CNA to join our Davison, MI team. The role involves providing multiple levels of support to residents in a one-on-one setting.

The ideal candidate has experience in healthcare or in-home care, can lift up to 50 pounds, and is committed to safety standards while delivering quality daily living assistance.

Qualifications

• Compassionate caregiver with can-do attitude and friendly demeanor.
• Prior healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care experience (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for residents, including showering, bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Help residents take prescribed medication and assist with ambulation.
• Assist with mobility around the facility or outside (appointments, walks).
• Assist with physical therapy exercises as needed.
• Complete client shopping or accompany them to shops.
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly in emergencies.
• Offer daily living activities and assist with meals and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene assistance for elderly patients or those recovering from surgeries, injuries or accidents by attending to their basic needs, such as showering, bathing, dressing and eating
• Help residents take prescribed medication and assist clients with ambulation
• Help with mobility around the facility or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
• Assist with physical therapy exercises
• Complete client’s shopping or accompany them to successfully do so
• Report any unusual incidents and act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Offer activities that are essential for daily living by assisting patients with their meals, including serving and other tasks, if necessary

Qualifications

• Enjoy working in a one-on-one setting, eager to improve and continuously learn new skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with physical capability to perform job-related duties
• Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner
• Prior experience in a healthcare, hospitality, or in-home care environment (minimum of 1 year)
• Willingness to enforce health and safety standard
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a Caregiver, CNA, or HHA
