Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Illinois seeks a compassionate Caregiver to provide hands-on daily living assistance, support residents, and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

You will follow individualized care plans, engage residents in conversations and activities, and communicate with families and care leaders. Training is provided to grow professionally within Sunrise.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; must be 18+
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss
