HomeWell Senior Care, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors, one-on-one in clients' homes. We offer full- or part-time roles with flexible schedules and pathways for advancement.

You will work closely with clients to enhance quality of life with empathy and integrity. No healthcare certification is required, though CNA/HHA is preferred. Competitive pay, bonus opportunities, training, and a fast-track to hire process are available depending on

Competenze

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred.
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus.
• Must have daily access to email, Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Must provide proof of negative TB test as required by Indiana.
• Must be physically able to lift/push/pull about 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
