HomeWell Care Services is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical care to seniors at home, helping them age in place with dignity. You will assist with daily living tasks, offer social companionship, and support clients and families with empathy, reliability, and respect.

We offer full- or part-time options, flexible schedules, paid mileage between shifts, continuous training, and opportunities for advancement.

Competenze

• No healthcare certification required; CNA/HHA or 6 months caregiving preferred.
• Experience with dementia/alzheimer's care a plus.
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
• Proof of current, negative TB test as required by state.
• Ability to lift, push and pull ~25 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance.
• Compassionate heart for older adults.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Mature, caring, punctual and reliable.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. We are looking for people who are committed to enhance the quality of life of seniors and others by providing the best in-home care with empathy, excellence and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
