Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in the United States seeks compassionate caregivers for in-home, one-on-one support to help seniors age in place with empathy and integrity.

You’ll provide a range of non-medical services, work with clients individually, and contribute to enhanced quality of life. The role offers flexible scheduling and advancement opportunities across locations, with training and supportive management.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred.
• Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care is a plus.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license with insurance.
• Daily access to email, internet, and a mobile phone.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship for clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily living tasks: feeding, reminders, bathing/dressing, hygiene, grooming, toileting, light housekeeping, laundry, cooking.
• Transport to appointments, errands, and social activities.
• Standby assistance with transfers.
• Overnight safety assistance when needed.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship

• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
