Job summary

HomeWell Care Services in Indiana seeks compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care to seniors. You will work one-on-one with clients to support daily living, companionship, and independence in the comfort of their homes.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, meal preparation, transportation, and ensuring safety. No healthcare certification is required, though CNA/HHA experience is a plus. Competitive pay and flexible scheduling offered.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable

Compensation: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
