Job summary

CareBuilders at Home – West Palm Beach FL is seeking empathetic caregivers to provide daily living assistance and companionship in clients' homes.

Responsibilities include personal care, light housekeeping, and accompanying clients to appointments, with training and opportunities for career advancement. A valid driver’s license and background check are required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company privacy policies.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if applicable).
• Pass background check.
• CNA License (Florida) or HHA Certificate (not required for companion care).
• Self-Administration of Medication Certificate (preferred).

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
