Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to provide in-home non-medical care and companionship for clients in the Alexandria area. You will support daily activities and promote independence in a compassionate, respectful manner.

Responsibilities include assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, transportation when needed, and monitoring health changes. We offer competitive pay, medical and vision insurance, 401k, and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.
• Can lift at least 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
