Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers to support individuals at home in the San Francisco area. You will provide assistance with daily activities, companionship, and ensure a safe, comfortable living environment.

Your role includes light housekeeping, meal preparation, and accompanying clients to appointments or social activities, all while following care plans and reporting changes promptly to the team.

Qualifications

• HCA registration (or in process).
• Experience as caregiver preferred but not required.
• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and light household tasks; valid driver's license if required.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as meal prep, laundry, and tidying up.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior; ensure a safe, comfortable environment.
