Job summary

CareBuilders at Home is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support and companionship to clients. You will assist with daily activities, offer emotional support, and help maintain a safe, clean living environment.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, meal prep, and accompanying clients to appointments. A valid Florida HHA/CNA, CPR, TB test, and background check are required where applicable.

Job Description:

We are seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers who have a passion for making a difference inthe lives of others. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and companionship to individuals who require help with daily activities.

Requirements:

• Valid HHA or CNA certificate (State of Florida)

• CPR certification

• TB Test results

• Willing to undergo ACHA fingerprint screening (if not already done)

• Valid ID and Social Security card

• Reliable transportation

• Be able to travel 20-45 minutes for some clients.

• Ability to pass drug screening

Responsibilities of a Caregiver:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.

• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.

• Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior. Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.

Skills and Qualifications of a Caregiver:

• Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.

• Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.

• Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
