Job summary

Garden Of Palms is seeking a caring and dependable Caregiver to join our team in West Hollywood, CA. You will provide direct resident care, assist with activities of daily living, and support a warm, safe living environment.

Reporting to the Wellness Director, you will help with grooming, hygiene, mobility, and medication reminders while maintaining excellent communication with residents and staff. Valid First Aid/ CPR are preferred, and English fluency is required.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player and committed to our mission.
• Passion for senior care and outstanding communication skills required.
• Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication reminders to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (grooming, hygiene, bathing, dressing).
• Assist with mobility and transfers; lift residents as needed.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment per facility standards.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.

• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• May need to possess current CPR

• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $21.00 -23.50per hour
