Job summary

Savant of Woodland Hills is looking for a dedicated Caregiver to join our team in caring for our senior residents.

You will report to the Wellness Director and provide direct care and medication assistance, assist with daily living activities, and help ensure a safe, comfortable environment for residents. Fluency in English and current First Aid/CPR certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR.
• Must possess First Aid Certification.
• Speak, read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull and lift residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and medication assistance to residents.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, hygiene) and transfers.
• Lift and transfer residents as needed.
• Support residents’ physical needs and safety.

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.

• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.
• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.

Must haves:

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.
• current CPR
• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations
• Speak read and understand English fluently.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.
• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $20.00 -22.50per hour
