Savant of Santa Monica is hiring a Caregiver to join our compassionate team. You will provide direct care and medication assistance to residents, ensuring safety and dignity in daily activities. You will help with activities of daily living, including grooming, bathing, and transferring, and report to the Wellness Director.

A supportive work environment and opportunities to grow in senior care await. Required: HS diploma or equivalent, CPR and First Aid, fluency in English, ability to lift

What you will do:

• Reporting to the Wellness Director, the Caregiver is responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations.


• Provide assistance (or reminders) with activities of daily living, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, hair cleaning and brushing, and transferring to and from activities and meals, as needed.


• Lift and/or transfer residents as needed.

Must haves

• This position prefers a high school diploma or equivalent certificate and a competent history in a similar facility.


• May need to possess current CPR


• Must possess valid First Aid Certifications and, according to state regulations


• Speak read and understand English fluently.


• Ability to push, pull, and lift residents and support their physical needs constantly.


• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing.

Pay rate $21.00 -23.50per hour
