Job summary

Companions & Homemakers, Inc. is seeking compassionate caregivers to join our Connecticut team. We offer flexible shifts across multiple service areas, competitive hourly pay, and comprehensive benefits.

As a caregiver, you will provide non-medical home care, transport clients, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship while documenting care and following each client's Plan of Care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence — offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
