Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking compassionate Caregivers to support seniors at home in Rapid City. Full-time and part-time positions are available with flexible scheduling and competitive pay. You will assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help maintain a safe, comfortable home.

Training, CEUs, benefits, and a supportive team are provided. Bi-weekly pay, 1:1 client ratios, and an extra $1.50/hr for evenings and weekends enhance the role.

Qualifications

• Must have valid South Dakota driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and provide personal care.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent communication and compassionate caregiving values.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meals, shopping, transportation, companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders and document conditions for a supervisor.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy like puzzles, games, reading, hobbies.
