Job summary

Westmont of Pinole is an Assisted Living and Memory Care community seeking a compassionate CAREGIVER to assist residents with daily living activities, provide care, and support a homelike environment. The team emphasizes safety, dignity, and high-quality resident care.

Requirements include clear criminal background checks, health screenings, and responsibilities such as keeping residents safe and reporting changes to the supervisor. Training is provided as part of a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping, making beds and serving meals.
• Observing residents for safety and reporting changes to supervisor.
• Criminal record clearance and health screenings required; first aid certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities as outlined in the resident service plan.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for all residents.
• Monitor residents and communicate any changes in condition to the supervisor.

What we need from you:

• Assisting residents with ADL tasks including housekeeping tasks, making beds, serving meals,
  • assisting with personal laundry, assisting with showers, assisting with toileting, dressing,
  • undressing, oral care, hair care, transfers and ambulation and any other needs addressed on the resident service plan.
• Keeping environment safe and clean for all residents.
• Observing residents for safety, and report any change of condition or other pertinent information to supervisor

• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
