Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 looking for compassionate caregivers to join our team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care to seniors, building relationships and supporting aging in place with empathy and integrity.

The role emphasizes dignity, safety and independence, with flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement. Training and development are available to help you grow in the position.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required; CNA/HHA preferred.
• Must have compassion and strong communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual, mature and caring for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Assist with daily living tasks such as feeding, reminders, bathing, grooming, hygiene, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry and meals
• Transport to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety as needed

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
