Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one in-home non-medical care to seniors in the community. You will build trusting relationships, support daily living activities, and help clients age in place with empathy and integrity.

Responsibilities include companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, and transportation support. A compassionate heart and reliable communication are essential to deliver high-quality care with dignity.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, but caring for seniors is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and family.
• Must be physically able to assist with daily living tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one non-medical in-home care to seniors.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Support with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
• Ensure client safety and report changes to supervisors.

You work individually with clients, one-on-one, providing a variety of non-medical services that allows you to form relationships with seniors who desire to age in place in their own homes. Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
