Job summary

HomeWell Care Services IN219 is seeking compassionate Caregivers to join our team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical in-home care to seniors who wish to age in place, delivering services with empathy, excellence and integrity.

We offer flexible schedules, paid mileage between shifts, and opportunities for advancement, with a fast-track hire process and ongoing training and uniforms provided.

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification required, CNA/HHA or 6+ months caregiving preferred
• Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care is a plus
• Must have daily access to email and a mobile phone
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Social companionship
• Assistance with daily living tasks (feeding, reminders for meds, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep)
• Transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Responsibilities

With dignity, compassion, and care, your duties include, but are not limited to:

• Social companionship
• Support with a variety of daily living tasks such as feeding and medication reminders, bathing/dressing and personal hygiene, grooming, toileting, dressing, light housekeeping, light cleaning, laundry and cooking/meal preparation and other care as needed
• Transportation to appointments, errands and social outings
• Standby assistance with transfers
• Overnight safety assistance

Qualifications

• No healthcare certification is required, but CNA, HHA, or 6 months plus caring for geriatric, chronically ill, or disabled persons preferred
• Experience with Dementia and Alzheimer's care a plus
• Daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone
• Proof of current, negative, tuberculosis (TB) test (as required by the State of Indiana)
• Must be physically able to perform the duties of this position, including the ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25lbs.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation in addition to proof of valid driver's license and valid automobile insurance
• A compassionate heart for older adults
• Must possess excellent communication skills
• Are mature, caring, punctual and reliable
