Job summary

Companions & Homemakers is seeking caring individuals to provide non-medical home care across Connecticut. You will follow each client's Plan of Care, transport to appointments, assist with daily tasks, and offer companionship in a compassionate setting.

Flexible scheduling includes Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights, and Live-In shifts. A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle are required; a criminal background check will be completed. Apply today to join a trusted team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Open availability preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, HHA, CNA, PCA, or Companion is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical home care following each client's individualized Plan of Care.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities.
• Help with light housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and grocery shopping.
• Assist with dressing, bathing, mobility, and incontinence care.
• Be a steady, caring presence - offering companionship and emotional support.
• Document care and provide reminders as directed.
