Chrysalis is seeking an Employment Specialist in Los Angeles to work one-on-one with clients, guiding them through job readiness, resume development, interviews, and job placement while maintaining caseload data and coordinating with internal teams.

The role emphasizes independent judgment, organization, and use of Salesforce to track outcomes. Travel to meetings is expected, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Qualifications

• Passion for Chrysalis’s mission and culture.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interacting with others with diplomacy and tact
• Strong organizational skills, including effective time management and the ability to work and make decisions independently
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize appropriately yet maintain flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter with a “can do” attitude and initiative
• Sensitive to various cultures and lifestyles
• Maintain confidential information and exercise discretion
• Computer literacy required; proficient in Internet research, MS Office, and willing to learn other applications
• Willingness to travel to meetings (mileage reimbursed)

Responsabilités

• Oversee the day-to-day case management of both working and non-working clients and motivate job search.
• Orient, assess, and provide employment counseling for clients; assess readiness and refer to Chrysalis resources.
• Conduct job readiness activities including resume building, practice interviews, and job applications.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of referral resources to facilitate employment search.
• Participate in Chrysalis meetings, share best practices, and provide workshops for colleagues.
• Represent Chrysalis to stakeholders via site tours and service presentations as needed.
• Document each service, outcomes, and next steps in Salesforce; monitor client progress.
• Adhere to Chrysalis policies, support mission, and carry out other duties as assigned.
