Job summary

Goodwill Houston seeks a Career Navigator to enroll and provide services to participants across WFD programs in Region 1 and Region 4. You will assess ALICE-related eligibility, deliver case management, financial literacy, career skills training, and job placement support while guiding participants toward labor market opportunities in partnership with Houston Academy for Career Development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Two years of workforce development or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and homelessness experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive employment case management and career planning.
• Maintain a rolling caseload per program requirements.
• Enter data into CaseWorthy and generate progress reports.
• Refer participants to supportive services and workforce programs.
• Prepare participants for employment through resume and interview coaching.
• Coordinate with store sites for onsite presence and outreach.
