Job summary

The California Conservation Corps seeks a Career Pathways & Transition Navigator at the Camarillo Center to help Corpsmembers turn public service into meaningful careers, internships, training, and higher education opportunities. As a Navigator, you will combine one-on-one coaching with program development and community partnerships to connect Corpsmembers with opportunities that match their goals.

Some travel is required as you engage employers, colleges, training providers, and community

Qualifications

• Background in education, student advising, or career counseling.
• Experience in workforce development or youth services.
• Ability to collaborate with employers, colleges, and training providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one coaching and develop personalized career plans.
• Coordinate college tours, career fairs, and employer visits.
• Assist with resumes, applications, and interview preparation.
• Build partnerships with employers, colleges, training providers and community organizations.
• Support program development and evaluation; occasional travel.
