Job summary

The California Conservation Corps is seeking a Career Pathways & Transition Coordinator to lead workforce placement and transition programs at the Camarillo Center. You will bridge field experience to high-wage careers, further education, and training pathways for 100–200 Corpsmembers.

Under the District Director, you will prepare and place members in employment, training or education opportunities, and help shape a dynamic, mission-driven workforce development program.

• Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
• Knowledge of public and private sector employment opportunities and industry trends.
• Knowledge of the Conservation Corps and/or youth development is preferred.
• Computer literacy (Windows, Outlook, Microsoft Office, Salesforce).
• Possession of a valid driver's license which is needed to drive a State vehicle for business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the core workforce placement and transition initiatives at the Camarillo Center.
• Architect programs to translate field experience into high-wage, long-term careers.
• Serve as the strategic bridge helping Corpsmembers transition to employment, training or education.
• Prepare and place CCC members in post-Corps opportunities.
• Coordinate career consultations and outreach related to the Transition Navigator role.
